A wolf's transgressions

I've never cared for documenting my life so but here, I will write my transgressions of my time in a new city. My first few days were less than subpar, mainly because I spent the majority of my time unpacking the condo. I did happen upon a tavern last night, which sells semi-decent bourbon but I think I will venture other avenues just to see what else there is for offering.
The weather is unremarkable, in the medical terms, meaning that there's nothing special about it. It is, as most places right now, blustery and cold. Winter sure has arrived and with a vengeance too but, I don't mind. It is, after all, one of my favorite seasons.
As expected, and I am sure to my family's disappointment, I haven't met anyone, no one worth noting at any rate. Perhaps it's my off putting presence but I have noticed, most give me a wide birth like I might tear their heads off at any moment. Perhaps, it is, that they can sense the wolf beneath the guise of this human looking form.
Regards,
Spenser.
