Q1. Do I absolutely have to play the browser game?

A1. Not at all! Many people are just here for the writing. The game exists as a shared world the characters can interact in but is not mandatory.

Q2. Are paid-for credits necessary to enjoy the game?

A2. All purchases are entirely optional. Most purchasable items are simply for vanity or to power a character faster. The designers of the Lore have made a point of making all purchases cheaper relative to similar games.

Q3. Will there be other races added?

A3. It is entirely possible for more races to be added to the game if the player base expresses enough interest. There are no current plans to add more at the moment.

Q4. Are hybrid races allowed?

A4. Within the game itself, the concept of hybrid races causes mechanical issues and is not supported.

Q5. How do guilds work?

A5. There is a building out in the city that allows you to start a clan. Once you've started a clan you may send invites to new members and build your guild house. Keep your guild house safe if you want to survive a war!

Q6. Help! I'm being harassed! What do I do?

A6. Discord and the forum both include a block feature. In game we have a soft block to stop messages, and a hard block to completely prevent all interaction between two players. We also recommend all harassment be brought to the moderation staff's attention.

Q7. I blocked someone by accident! Can I undo it?

A7. In game blocks can be undone but be warned there is a 30 day cooldown before they can be blocked again. Each subsequent unblock adds another 30 days to that cooldown. This is to prevent abuse of the feature in the game. If you have repeated issues with a player, please contact moderation staff.

Q8. My character has been placed in the Oubliette. How do I get out?

A8. The Oubliette is a place where players are sent for breaking the ToS. Please contact the moderation staff and file an appeal.
