Merits:
Loyal Is outwardly Loyal to those she allows to worship her as Muse.
Leadership In a battle or serious discussion she will take a leadership role if needed. She can easily direct those of lower willpower to defend home/family. Having been a muse for several military types.
Curiosity: her natural tendency to want to know more, has gotten her involved in some fabulous adventures and given her wonderful stories to write down and tell.

Flaws:
Recklessness. In the face of protecting the weak, or if she is given a challenge, she will wholeheartedly accept it. Believing that her luck can carry her through.
Dangerous Attraction: Due to her charisma and her curiosity for the darker passions of humans, she tends to attract the sinister or deadly type of males and females. This has gotten her almost dead(a few times) in the past.
Fatal Curiosity: As stated, her curiosity is her biggest strength and flaw. Once aroused, she will sometimes pursue a bit of gossip or tale until she finds out the truth of it. Even if the story is one filled with danger or death.

Personality:
She can be outwardly frivolous and fun-natured, most of the time. However, she can become very serious at the weak being hurt or knowledge being erased. At any one time, she can fall in and out of love quickly with many and prizes her freedom highly. She is always willing to join an adventure, or hear a tale. And will share some of the older stories she knows.
She can be a little odd, she prefers to be barefoot but only around those she trusts. She’s had sandals crafted that appear to be shoes but allow her to be barefoot without others knowing out in Society.

Backstory:
Kay’la is a typical Eshu. She wanders the world, blending in and trying to learn everything she can in whatever society she lands in. Currently, she has wandered into the Lore and is eager to experience all the life she can.
She was technically born in the 12th century, created unknowingly by the Norman poet Wace. His dreams of Camelot, Arthur and Guinivere, so attracted the Eshu fae, that she was created. Her name has changed over the centuries as needed to fit in. Her name at creation was Cateline Allaire, but in this year, she goes by Kay’la Courtier.

She’s gotten very good at making friends, and tends to be a very loyal friend to those who know the best stories or the largest amount of history.

However, in a moment she can turn if she feels her freedom is being taken away or someone is hurting a weaker person, such as a child. Her anger is very rare, but once inflamed, she will use her powers to lash out and damn the consequences. This has caused her to move from one place to another before certain unexplained incidents could be found out
