@Kay-la It's good. Many plot twists that keep you guessing and wondering and as soon as you think you've figured something out it gets twisted again. But it all makes sense in how it's twisted. It's not one of those shows where they're trying too hard, ya know?

Non-Grid Powers:Magic: Aside from a limited ability to utilize shadow magic, he is capable of nothing more than minor cantrips though his magical ability seems to wax and wane with the seasons and his location within the city.
Adaptive Learning: Though relatively young to this time and place, Niraen displays an ability to absorb knowledge when presented with it be it language, written or spoken knowledge. Visual and auditory media seem to be the outliers in that he can not learn as quickly via those particular methods.
Supernatural Charisma: Both a blessing and a curse, this particular aspect of Niraen leads those of a weaker will, when close, to find it difficult to feel their eyes drawn to him. Though able to be resisted, it is reported that it just always seems like something is moving in the corner of the observer's eye in whichever direction Niraen is standing.
Weaknesses: Heat from any sources will weaken but not defeat Niraen while the more developed an area of the city he is in will weaken his connection to his magics.

Scars: Niraen's back is covered in hundreds of healed wounds, the origins of which are just as numerous as the scars.Physical Description: Niraen stands at only slightly impressive six feet and three inches in height and by all simple glances the oddly pale man seems to be just another elf walking the streets of the city. Were one to look closer they would see that there seems to be a very thin sheen of ice that has formed at the corners of those vibrant blue eyes, alongside the unusual air of regality and the cold chill that seems to emanate from his person it becomes more apparent that this is one of the more curious races that comprise the Tua.
PSYCHOLOGICAL TRAITS
Merits: Intelligent, Logical, Organized
Flaws: Easily distracted, emotionally distant, stubborn
Personality: Loyal and passionate, Niraen is the type of man to keep his word when he has given it. It is getting him to give his word that tends to be the most difficult part as he tends to keep himself distanced from anything that is not of the Tua. Possessing a distrust of most non-Tua, Niraen tends to associate most easily with his kind though there is a keen curiosity in the lives of Humans and Theriens with an obvious distrust and dislike for the demonic. Vampires and Celestials are wildcards and while he remains guarded he is not immediately distrustful. With no memory of his time before waking most recently, there is very little that Niraen is aware of in regards to his mind and this leaves a great deal of confusion and frustration with himself roiling near the surface of his mind. When presented with a task, however, some kind of switch seems to be flipped and he becomes almost like an automaton in the way he processes information with a cold, logical, and calculating mindset. It makes him a wonderful keeper of information as he can very much be trusted to keep everything organized and easily accessible for the next project that comes his way.
BACKGROUND
Family: Possibly. Some might have survived if they were lucky.
Friends: Unknown
Enemies Most likely a few among the Disciples of ManBackstory: A veteran of the Mad War, Niraen served The Eternal Council as a less honorable combatant, specializing in infiltration, assassination, and misinformation. Working directly beneath the tutelage of an Elder of the Winter Fae known to him simply as 'Frostbite', Niraen was instrumental in minor victories in more than a few of the guerilla ambushes that were aimed at disrupting the supply lines of the Disciples of Man and inciting chaos into their operations. Though never afforded any laurels or gratitude for his efforts, it was through his sense of duty and honor that he worked so tirelessly to see the war brought to an end in the favor of The Eternal Council. It was with a great deal of bitterness that, on the eve of the Rain of St. James he was informed that his role in this age was coming to an end. The coming chaos was one for those of warmer tastes to sort out, after all.
And so Niraen, and those of his kind, were lain to rest deep beneath the ground among the roots of one of the mightiest trees of Andalvyn where the warmth of summer would never weaken them and the world of man would never disturb them. Encased in a sarcophagus of enchanted ice and placed into a magical slumber only to awaken when the will of Andalvyn itself found need of them, the Winter Fae would slumber. Locked in a world between worlds, his subconscious passed the time inventing dreams of the world above and the peace and harmony that would be found when the threat of war was a long-distant and unspoken myth.
It wouldn't be until a mere week ago that the slumber of The Winter Fae would be brought to an end. Assuming himself to be the last of his kin to awaken, Niraen was met by the sight of each sarcophagus melted to nothingness and the roots of the great tree being withered and decayed. Fearing the worst, he forced himself through the earth while fighting the weakness that sought to claim his body and mind. It wasn't until he broke ground in one of the many parks the city had to offer that he found the cool crisp air of a cold winter night. With naught more than a deep intake of breath did he find the strength returning to him. The tree beneath which he and his had found shelter was but a withered husk of the majestic flora it had once been. The work of Man, he assumed. The cool ground and even colder stone of a nearby path almost seemed to welcome him home as he took slow step after slow step down the path into the cold night, the detritus and debris of his exhausting journey seeming to melt away from his garments as if Andalvyn itself were welcoming her child back into the waking world.
